Welcome to Young Justice, a space created to make legal rights simple and accessible for teens. Many young people don’t know what they’re entitled to at school, online, or in everyday situations — and that’s where I come in.
Here, you’ll learn about:
• Online Privacy & Digital Responsibility: How to protect your information, stay safe online, and avoid scams or risky situations.
• Students’ Rights in School: Understand your rights with teachers, school policies, and disciplinary actions.
• Bullying & Harassment Laws: What counts as bullying or harassment, what protections exist, and what steps you can take.
• Everyday Legal Situations: From part-time jobs to interactions with adults and authority figures, know your rights so you can navigate life confidently.
My goal is simple: to give teens the tools and knowledge to protect themselves, make informed choices, and understand how the law affects their everyday life. We explain everything in clear, straightforward language and sometimes bring in law students or local lawyers to share advice and real-life examples.

The Young Justice blog is a great way for me to access educational content through Instagram. As a teen, the blog has helped me expand my knowledge of the law all through social media. Maria’s video on SCOTUS cases that impact students allowed me to learn about cases I had no idea about. These cases have a real everyday impact on mine and all my peers’ lives and therefore they should be something we are informed about. Additionally, I found her interview with Carlos Elizalde very insightful as we were able to hear from the perspective of a certified foreign legal consultant and Mexican attorney and I even found myself agreeing with the point on the regulation of AI for those under 18. Ultimately, this blog is both informative and entertaining. Hey Maria, I just wanted to give you a big thank you for the @youngjustice.blog page. In specific, I loved your video on bullying and harassment laws. Not only have I been bullied in the past, but my younger brother is actively undergoing harassment in school that makes it an uncomfortable environment for him. Prior to the video, I felt unequipped with knowledge on the legal provisions in place within school systems. When I’ve tried giving my brother advice, I was doing my best to give him advice on how to be passive, as I believed there was nothing of higher order he could do. However, since watching that video, I now understand that schools must investigate situations of bullying promptly. This is major advice in getting my brother the help he needs. There’s a lot that I don’t understand about the legal system, partly due to the fact that I am a teenager like you, but the way in which you upload helpful, digestible content will help to educated me.
